Personality:
Will is a Gryffindor, and Will is a male. Unfortunately, those two things tell far more about his character than they should. He follows his whims and takes risks whenever he feels like it. He is not one to overthink things, but he has a very clear view of the world, because he sees things the way they are. Caution is a foreign concept to him, and he tends to be very impulsive in both speech and in making decisions. He likes to bend the rules to suit his own needs, and some say that he has created his own, unfathomable code of conduct, especially regarding chivalry and ethics. He does what he wants and enjoys roaming free. When something is important to him, he can buckle down and get things done. However, this leads to lots of unfinished homework assignments, as school is not really one of his priorities. He is very hedonistic. He values sleep highly.
History:
Will was a spoiled rotten only child. His parents did not believe in the necessity of spending much time with their child, believing that taking care of Will was a task much better left to nannies, neighbors, and whoever else happened to be around to take care of him. Will became the master of slipping away unseen to get into trouble the instant his numerous babysitters turned their heads. Causing trouble got him the attention he desperately craved, which was all that really mattered to him. However, when odd things started happening around him, thanks to his magical abilities, he caught his parent's attention, and temporarily, their approval. When he finally departed for Hogwarts, he left with his parents' blessing; they were proud that their son was going off to Hogwarts to make something of himself.
However, they quickly learned that this was not the case. Although Will made friends quickly and easily, his grades left much to be desired. Although he understood the importance his parents placed on school, he realized that it no longer really mattered to him whether his parents were happy with him. At Hogwarts, he had found his own home, where the people cared and respected him far more than his muggle father and aloof mother. He caused trouble, slacked off, and just generally did whatever he felt like, and his parents learned after many howlers that there was nothing they could do to stop him. They did not realize that really, he could have been causing more trouble than they could have imagined; although he was sorted in Gryffindor, the same house as the infamous group of Black, Potter, Remus, and Pettigrew, he was never really interested in joining their gang. He had a healthy working relationship with them, but he always kept himself slightly apart, in order to maintain his identity of a prankster and troublemaker of his own right.
Over time, he has developed his closest relationships with a group of three other young witches and wizards, each one from a separate house at Hogwarts, all in the same year. They are his closest friends, and they accept him, despite his rashness and bluntness. The group of four, comprised of two girls and two boys, are the closest thing Hogwarts has to inter-house unity, and despite some of the flack he gets from other Gryffindors for hanging out with a Slytherin, he knows how lucky he is to have such great friends.
This Is Your LifeLikes: Chocolate brownie ice cream, blue raspberry slushies, horror movies.
Loves: Slacking off, taking risks.
Dislikes: Restrictions, reading, locked doors.
Loathes: Responsibility. Having the future forced at him.
Wishes: He does not really believe in them. If he wants something badly enough, he goes and gets it. Otherwise, it's not important enough to try.
Fears: He jokes around that he is afraid of an honest day's work, but he does not really ever talk about the things that scare him most. He probably does not think about them much himself.
Secrets: He likes someone in Gryffindor house. He won't tell me who yet, and it is ticking me off. WHY DOES HE LIKE KEEPING ALL SORTS OF SECRETS FROM ME WHEN I AM HIS BLOODY CREATOR -.-
Random Fact: Although he can lie well to professors, when it comes to his friends and family, he has no poker face whatsoever.
